The Seven Stars was situated at 11
Barrack Street. This grade-II listed pub was present by 1911 and is now in residential
use. It is the pink house on the left of the above photo. |

Early C19. Rendered. Pitched slate
roof. Red brick stack. 2 storeys. 4 ranges of windows with hoodmoulds, plate
glass on ground floor, 1 tripartite sash on 1st floor, 3 sashes with glazing
bars on 1st floor. Planked and spiked carriage doors to yard at left hand.
6-panel door with semi-circular fanlight and hoodmould. Casements with
glazing bars to Rax Lane. |
