The Revels Inn was situated on Revels Hill. This grade-II listed pub is now in residential use.
 
Listed building details:
 House, possibly former inn, late C18. Rendered walls with slated, gable-ended roof, with end rendered stacks. Symmetrical facade. 2 storeys, 5 bays, 2:1:2. Central bay slightly projecting and pedimented Sashes with glazing bars. Round headed doorway with fanlight. Internal features (RCHM): room with full, fielded panelling and doorcase with gothick details. To left is a tiled, single storey brick extension with gable end. Said to figure in Thomas Hardy's "The Woodlanders"
