My memory of the beer garden (perhaps family area?) out the back will live on. I remember it being the no. 1 evening out for the family to truly signify the holiday had begun in Swanage. Remember unpacking my little wicker doll's hamper that had orange, blue, and green glasses inside and setting them up on the table at the back of the ferry boat @ 1974, although we returned on countless years thru the 70's. The beer garden/indoor? family area always had a distinct smell of beer that has thread itself into a wonderful memory, but it was steeped in it for sure! Somehow my young childhood mind recalls the long tables out back and a feeling of being in an orangerie-type of greenhouse structure; I was very young, but it was always bustling.
Thank u FB Inn for memories that have lasted half a century !!
