Daisy Hill
The Daisy Hill was situated at Heugh
Edge. |
This was originally the Daisy Hill Working Men’s
Club. It closed as a Working Men’s Social Club in the 1990s and was bought
by a private owner who re-opened it as The Daisy Hill incorporating a
restaurant called The Grill at the Hill. It was successful for a number of
years in this format and retained the large working men’s club function room
which every Friday night hosted a band from the local circuit. The music
nights were quite successful in the early 2000s. This pub closed during the
Covid-19 pandemic and the building has since been demolished. |
