The Shoulder Of Mutton was situated on Halstead Road. This pub closed in 2013 and is now used as a craft centre and tearoom.

The Shoulder of Mutton in Aldham. Essex. was reopened by Shepherd Neme but only lasted a few years and was eventually sold from their estate. One or two hopefuls tried but it eventually permanently closed as a pub but has now reopened as an antique centre and tea rooms, Bargain Hunt were filming there a few weeks ago !
