building details: |
Formerly an Inn now a house. C17 or
earlier with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and plastered
with some painted brick facing. Red plain tiled roofs. Red brick chimney
stack to left crosswing and rear right. The left half hipped gabled
crosswing outshot to ground floor right is of 2 storeys. Central range set
back, of 1 storey and attic with a flat headed dormer. Right C20 2 storey
flat roofed extension. 1:1:1 window range of various C19 casements and
vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars. Right of central range is a 6
panelled door with 2 lights in a moulded surround. |
