The Henry Ford was situated on the A13. It opened in 1984 and also used the
names Bizzie Lizzie and Monarchs. This pub closed in 1989 and later became a
drive through
McDonalds. |

Opened in the late 1970s. First night was filled with every
dreg that had been banned from all Dagenham pubs and soon became known as
"The Flying Bottle" ,no explanation needed! |

In the early 80s I was a teenage apprentice at
Ford. Occasionally, payday, we'd cross the A13 to have beers n watch
the strippers haha. The place was packed with workers, old men fought
their way to the front, us kids relegated to the rear :-). The good old
days, innocent fun. |
