Admiral Rous

The Admiral Rous was situated on The Common. This pub opened in the late 1860s and was used as a tea room following closure. It is now in residential use. In 1899 it was the scene of a murder when the publican, Samuel Crozier, murdered his wife. He was hanged later that year.
