The Three Tuns was situated at 20 Stortford Road. This pub which closed in 1947 had a candle factory at the rear of the premises . The public bar was accessed through the door of what is now number 20a, and the saloon bar through number 20 . Staff accommodation in the attic rooms are still accessible .
