The Ship

The Ship was situated at 3 Kings Quay Street. This pub is now used as a restaurant. The publican in 1895 was Henry Davenport.
 
Opened as a pub around 1743 becoming the The Bell and changed to Ye Olde Shipp Inn during the First World War. The pub closed in 1927 and was later used as a tearoom, bookshop, and a sweet shop. It was restored in 1976 becoming a restaurant.
