White Hart
White Hart |
|

|
|
The
White Hart was situated at 168 High Street, on a traffic island in the Town
Centre. It had several changes of name and image from the 1980s onwards,
Madison Exchange, Newt and Cucumber before becoming Lloyds No1 (a subsidiary
of Wetherspoons). It closed in 2006 but the name White Hart is still used on
bus timetables. |

What was the White Hart later (Madison Exchange/Lloyds No1) is now split
into two establishments. One bit is Ask, a restaurant, and the other bit is
Wildwood which describes itself as a restaurant and bar. |
