I remember as a small boy going many times to the Kirby
Tavern with my father. I could not go into the actual pub itself but my
father nonetheless always took me into a small area which had the words
"Tap Room" on the dark brown door. Somebody would then pour beer into a
couple of jugs my father had brought with him and that was that |
