The Fighting Cocks was situated on London Road. This grade-II listed pub closed in 2020.

Listed building details:

Early-mid C19 red brick building. Two storeys. Three window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey has 2 canted bays and a central doorway. Roof slate, with overhanging verges and external chimney stacks with arched recesses on the north and south ends.
