The Dog Inn was situated on the High Street.

Tossed a lot of darts and downed quite a few pints in there, RAF Wethersfield, 62-65. Went there on my visit in 2013, sorry to say it’s gone.

Elizabeth Gilligan	1967/1968	My husband, John, was stationed at Wethersfield Air Force Base from last October 1967 until April 1968 when he was transferred to Southeast Asia. We lived in Wethersfield at what was known as the Wicks Bungalow. She was an English civilian who worked at the base library. Many of our visitors stayed upstairs over the pub....including us as we spent our last days after our car and furniture were shipped back to the States.
