The St Georges Hall was situated at 203 Church Road. This Wetherspoon's pub closed in 2021. Plans to convert the property into 44 bedsits were rejected. As of Sep 2024, It is being converted into a cafe of The Crafty Egg chain (2 already in Bristol). It is also hoped to renovate a hidden cinema behind the Cafe, which it is said would find community favour.
