The Harvest Home was situated on Evesham Road. This pub closed in 2015 and has now been demolished to make way for new housing.
We were in the bar one evening with a couple playing wild rover etc on the guitar when closing time cane and went. We heard a voice from the bar saying to the barman “you’d better close the curtains and lick the door”. This drew our attention to him - the local Bobby in uniform!
