The Kings Head was situated on Broad Street. This pub closed in 2005.

I was raised in the Kings Head as my grandparents Bert and Nora Coles ran it for about 25 years, leaving when they retired in 1979. It saddens me to see it now in such a terrible state of repair as I have such good memories of my childhood there. Nan and Grandad moved there when my Mum was about 18. Prior to this, they ran the Bridge pub in Lydney.
