This pub was run by my husbands’ family
from the late 1800’s until late 1970’s. Great Grandma Fanny Tombs then Great
Aunt Queenie and husband Alex featured in 1960s by Eamon Andrews in “find
the link” on BBC their clue was “not a stranger in paradise” that beat the
panel of Gilbert Harding and three other celebrities, the certificate was
proudly displayed in the Adam Bar – life was simpler then! Unfortunately,
the certificate disappeared after they left the property |
