This pub has now reopened and is trading as a freehouse.

I have fond memories as a 15 year old in 1974 buying bottles of brown ale from the off licence and drinking them with my first grown up girlfriend (16) and then playing football opposite. Then running home to Popley 2 hoping the beer would not be noticed by my witch of a step mother.
