White Swan

The White Swan was situated on Bank Street. This pub closed in 2006.

This is now used as an Indian restaurant called ‘Friends’. The upper parts and rear of the property have been redeveloped into flats, it used to be a fire station (at the back) so one of the larger flats has been called this and given the number ‘999 Upper Basingwell Street’ which the pub corners onto.
