Milkmans Arms

The Milkmans Arms was situated on North Street. This pub closed in 1999.

This was a simple, stuccoed, mid nineteenth building which was a characterful local and a Gales of Horndean tied house until it closed in 1999. It had a large garden to the north and rear, an obvious site for redevelopment, and the pub was demolished a couple of years after it closed and was replaced along its whole frontage by a block of ‘affordable’ flats.
