The Railway Hotel was situated on Station
Approach.
This pub started life as The Railway Tavern and in 1867 became The Railway
Hotel. It was demolished in the 1950's
and was replaced with a new building (see below). Over the years, the site
has seen many changes - a factory producing lady's underwear, a bingo club
and then a nightclub, Prague Junction. The new building has also been
demolished. |
