The Mole was situated on Ramsdell Road and closed in 2010.

This pub has now reopened.

The pub closed again in 2018 because of problems with environmental health. Permission was eventually granted to convert it to a private home despite local opposition. However, it was remodelled by its new owner as a daytime tearoom/nighttime wine bar called The Olive Tree which opened in May 2022. This venture itself is set to close in July 2023 due to apparent lack of local support.
