The Northsea Arms was situated at 94 Twyford
Avenue. This pub closed in 1981 and is now in residential use. |
|
I used to attend this Pub around 1970 when Jim
was landlord together with his wife whom I have forgotten the name and their
two offspring Barry and Deborah, it was a pub where you were made to feel
welcome and after a time I helped behind the bar and changing barrels, I was
stationed at HMS Sultan at the time and left in 1971 to join on draft to
Chatham for HMS Torquay in refit. |
