Bakers Arms

The Bakers Arms was situated at 16 Clifton Terrace. This pub was present by the 1860s when Arthur Chandler was the publican. Rebuilt in 1914 by Winchester Brewery. Taken over by Marstons with whom it remained until closure in 1964. It has now been demolished and replaced by a mult-storey car park. It can be seen in the above photo behind The Exeter Hotel.
