The Bald Faced Stag was situated at 36 Edward
Road. This pub has now been converted into flats. |

This pub was present by the 1870s when it was
known as The Stag and owned by the Winchester Brewery and Matthew Fleming
was the publican. It changed its name
to The Bald Faced Stag c1890 and was bought by Marstons Brewery in the
early 1900s. Closed in Spring 2012. |
