Charlotte Arms

The Charlotte Arms was situated at 17 Northam Street. This pub was present by the 1860s when James Light was publican here. Owned by Scrase's Star Brewery in the early 1900s before passing to Strong's Romsey Brewery upon their takeover of Scrase's. It was refused a licence in 1932 for which Strongs received £865 in compensation. It then became a private residence before being demolished in the 1860s. The site is now occupied by a Jurys Inn.
