The Firs Inn was situated at 92 Pound Street, Bitterne. This pub closed in 1974.

A private house which became a pub in the early 1870s with a William Wyatt as the first landlord.it came under the ownership of Aldridge’s Bedford Brewery later transferring to Brickwood’s Brewery and finally in 1971 a Whitbread’s Brewery pub It was demolished when Bitterne’s commercial district was subjected to complete redevelopment including the construction of a bypass.
