This Brickwoods Brewery pub which opened in the early 1960s replaced the Hampton Court Brewery Bar, which was attached to the Hampton Court Brewery. It was taken over by Whitbread’s Brewery in 1971 when they acquired Brickwoods. The pub closed in 2004 and was demolished to be replaced by flats when this end of Castle Lane was built over.
