The Pound Tree Inn was situated at 6 Pound Tree Road.  This Winchester Brewery pub had a license prior to 1869. It was later owned by Marston’s Brewery but was completely destroyed during the World War Two blitz. The license however remained suspended until 1957 when it was transferred to the Fremantle Arms in Albany Road.
