I was a customer with my partner, Ahmed. Many happy times
there. |

I remember drinking Pompey Royal here in my student days.
Must have been 1979 to 1981. A wonderful dark beer, too strong, really,
to be a session ale, I was always more than merry after three pints of
that. A very nice couple was running the place, must have been in their
fifties or early sixties then. |
