was situated
at 63 St Marys Road.
This former Eldridge Pope pub closed in 1966 and was subsequently
demolished.
The last licencee was Ray Green son of
Tommy Green
who won an Olympic Gold Medal in the 50 k walk at the 1932 Summer Olympics
in Los Angeles. |
