The Cricketers was situated on Clarkes
Lane. A 16th century grade-II listed
drovers inn, the pub closed in 2020 and a planning application to
convert it to residential made the same year. |

Public House. Early C19. Flint and brick,
with a tile roof. Front (south) of 2 storeys, 3 windows (a signboard filling
the central opening). Hipped roof, brick dentil eaves. Thin horizontal flint
panels, brick quoins, cambered arches, plinth. Cast-iron casements. Brick
porch with a tile roof. |
