The Dolphin

The
Dolphin was situated at 51 High Street. This was a public house from at
least the beginning of the 18th century. It was rebuilt in 1882 and
closed in 1981 when the lease needed renewal. |

Was a regular here. Lovely pub, great landlords (who went
on to run another pub in Winchester whose name escapes me), interesting,
somewhat bohemian clientele and I miss it and recall it with great
affection. |
