The Labour In Vain was situated at Church End. This grade-II listed pub closed in the 1950s and is now in residential use.

Listed building details:

Late C17 former public house. Timber-framed, brick clad, tiled roof. Two storeys, two-light casement windows, gable chimney stack. Later wing at rear. Modern additions.
