The Cock Inn was situated on Main Street. This grade-II listed pub is now in residential use.
Listed building details:
House, formerly The Cock P.H. Late C17. Renovated late C20. Timber-framed, plastered rendered and tiled, hipped roof with ridge stack. Lobby entry plan. Two storeys. Four modern first floor casements possibly in original openings. Three ground floor similar windows on either side of doorway. Extended at the rear. Interior: back-to-back inglenook hearths. Cellar and dairy at south end. Some inserted timber-framing, but original long straight downward wall bracing. First floor has original partition walls including a corridor with internal leaded light casement with original iron fittings but modern glass.
