Kings Head

Date of photo: 2013

The 15th century half timbered Kings Head at 3 South Street was closed down after a drugs related drive-by shooting. The bar opening onto the courtyard where the coaches & horses once were stabled, and where Shakespeare was performed in the open air, is now a carpet warehouse. The old snug is now used as a wine bar.
