The Roman Quay was situated on Stembrook. and was originally a Charrington pub which opened on 31st July 1957. The licence had been transferred from the by-then demolished Granville Hotel. The pub closed in March 2020 and is awaiting a decision to convert into a retail/cafe/community space.
