The Style & Winch was situated in
Northend Road on the corner with Boundary Street. This pub closed in
2008.
According to a reviewer on one website the pub was "Erith's premier
fighting pub. All the local pond life can be found here on a Friday night to
pick up hot and cold running drugs and a fight with the local plod. Avoid!".
This pub was previously known as The Plough and The Boundary. |

The Plough was a
reasonable pub until it was renamed to The Boundary in the mid 1980s. The
landlord at the time was known for banning people who referred to it as The
Plough. This was the beginning of the end. |
