The Queens Head was situated
at 44 William Street. The
building is
grade-II listed
and dates from the early 19th century. Elizabeth Holness was the landlady in
1866. The pub closed in 2013. |

Early C19. 2 storeys
stuccoed, the ground floor rusticated. Hipped slate roof with parapet. 5
cambered cashes to William street elevation and 4 to the Queen Street
elevation. Blank to the corner. Simple doorcase to corner. |
