The Hog & Donkey was situated on North Stream and closed in 2008.

One of the most unusual pubs I’ve visited, with two small living rooms forming the pub, and you sat on comfy old low-down sofas. It opened when it opened, so finding it open was a treat in itself. If I recall right drew real ale from a keg but someone might remember better than I (1980’s). Outside were a panoply of various old cars, bit like a place where old cars went to die, or maybe just maybe left by former customers, in whatever fashion. Great little pub, none like it.
