The New Inn was situated at 37 High Street.  This grade-II listed pub closed in 2015 is now in used as a coffee shop.

Listed building details:

A timber-framed building refronted in the C18. 2 storeys. Painted brick facade. Tiled roof and parapet. 7 sashes with architraves over but glazing bars missing. 2 doorcases, one with a flat hood over supported on iron brackets and a door of 8 fielded panels. The other doorcase has had modern alterations, Panelled interior. Passage through the building at its North East end, with timber-framing visible in the West wall of this.
