The Weirs fabulous mine hosts Barbara & John, I remember very fondly, I sailed to the isle Of Man with John Shorty and beach it Billy to watch the TT on Johns pride and joy his 36’ Bavaria Yacht, it was undoubtedly the was the most fun pub I’ve ever been to, on the days before 24 hour drinking was legal, we drank and danced, many times on the tables and chairs till dawn, dancing madly especially when dear Barbara (now sadly deceased) heard the Beach Boys surfing songs play on the jukebox we would all get up dancing and taking all the brass trumpets etc of the walls and Barbara would throw water over us to simulate the sea, what happy happy days, sadly missed
