The Bastwell Hotel was situated at 83 Whalley New Road.

My grand parents were the land lord and land lady when i was a boy . Circa 1958/60. They were Ethel and Jim Nolan. I remember they had a portrait picture of them behind the bar. Their heads were larger than their bodies i recall . I wonder what happend to the character picture

Carl Haydock	1987/1989	The tenants were john Gregory and Barbara haydock. I was babaras son,I lived there for a couple of years. I remember regulars such as Tommy Gleason,Billy boatswain,Tony hennigan,Steve Parker , Billy moffat and ajub. Great memories
