I lived in this pub when I was born
My Grandad and Granny owned the pub. The pub is named on his death
certificate. He was called Robert Parton. My Gran was called Alice. My
Grandad looked after and dressed the two shire horses in the stables at
the pub and they were from Thwaites brewery. |
