The Greyhound was situated on the corner of Belle Vue Street and Whitehead Street.

Archie Scholes was one time landlord circa 1960. This was one of my fathers watering holes. A friend of mine lived across the road, his mum used to nip across to the Greyhound and bring his dad a pint of draught ale back home. A sort of modern day carry out.
