My father Jim Gibson was the owner from 1920-1940. In his day he was a well known sportsman in Blackburn and the area, football and snooker was his sport. He died in 1962 in Grantham. The only thing I have of his a gold medal for playing at Ewood Park in the Birtwistle Cup in April 1920 losing this final
