The Kings Head Inn was situated at 43 King Street. A listed building now used as offices. An older picture here.

We used to go in the Kings Head Sunday evenings after mass at St Annes Church in the early eighties. There was a lot of the church dwellers in there. We used to say from the house of god to the house of sin, The snug on the left was a bit grubby but cozy.
Needham
Eddie Holden was probably the last landlord here. He was at one time our window cleaner and was nicknamed Eddie windows.
