We used to go in the Kings Head Sunday evenings after mass at St Annes
Church in the early eighties. There was a lot of the church dwellers in
there. We used to say from the house of god to the house of sin, The snug on
the left was a bit grubby but cozy. |

Eddie Holden was probably the last landlord here. He was at
one time our window cleaner and was nicknamed Eddie windows. |
