The Shear Bank Hotel was situated on Eldon Road, Blackburn adjacent to Shear
Bank Road. The pub was a Matthew Brown house, serving Lion Bitter and Mild
and Slalom Lager. The interior consisted of a bar/lounge area with a snooker
room at the front of the pub and a darts and dominoes room at the rear. The
pub was a popular local, noted for its successful snooker teams who won many
individual and team prizes in the Blackburn and Darwen area. |
