The Toll Bar Inn was situated at 2 Whalley Old Road.

The Toll Bar was probably demolished in the mid-sixties with the rest of Fisher Street the corner of which I think it would have stood on.

This pub was owned by my Great Grand Uncle William Henry Livesey who died in 1914, and his wife Alice Livesey.
